The Logan Lake Olive Midge is liked by professional guides and anglers. The reason guides like this fly pattern is because of how many fish people have caught with it. Guides always want you to be catching as many fish as possible so you keep going back! This midge fly pattern does the job.
It is more of a flashier type of midge with the bright green color and white top. Because of this we want to be using them about 12 inches or more off the floor and in more clearer types of water.
Zinger Fishing offers hook sizes 10, 12, and 14 so you have plenty to choose from. If you are fishing in smaller streams, I would choose the #14’s. If you do more river fishing like me, #10’s and #12’s will be ideal.
