The Prince Gold Bead Pheasant Tail Nymph might just be the best all-around mayfly nymph in your fly box. It does a great job of imitating MOST of the mayflies.
If you see fish darting back and forth beneath the water, they are eating the rising mayfly nymphs. To fish these nymphs, you will want to make sure they are near the bottom of your water source. Slightly pull up on your fly rod to give them the imitation that they are heading towards the surface to emerge. Fish will get curious and strike!
